TCP Announces Expanded LED Lamp Products
TCP, the leader in energy efficient lighting design and innovation, today announced several new additions to its practical LED lamp product line at the LightFair 2010 show in Las Vegas, Nevada. These new LED lamps are unique in both technology and design, and include decorative lamps and reflectors with a rated life of 25,000 hours. In addition to their attractive styling, these lamps are energy efficient, saving at least 80% of the energy used by a typical incandescent.
“Our strategy is to introduce high performance, practical LED lamps that will meet or exceed the US Department of Energy’s and the Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR specifications, and at a value price. As the leader in energy efficient lighting, TCP is committed to providing a complete line of robust, high quality LED lighting products for many commercial and residential applications,” said Ellis Yan, CEO of TCP.
TCP showed two new high performance LED Elevator lamp models, which are specifically designed for low-voltage installations in elevators and other specialty lighting applications. These new LED Elevator lamps deliver high lumen output and long life, using a fraction of the energy of halogen or incandescent lamp alternatives. TCP studies show that replacing typical incandescent lamps with these new LED lamps can payback the original investment in as little as four months. In addition, TCP’s LED Elevator lamps are far more durable and can resist shock-related failures far better than other lamps that are used with these applications. TCP’s Elevator Lamp products are available immediately.
TCP is also expanding its LED lamp lineup, offering a comprehensive array of Directional lamps including PAR20, PAR30, and PAR38 lamps, all available as either spots or floods. TCP utilizes a unique “Circular-Array” low-power LED design for all of these products, providing superior light dispersion, excellent color rendering characteristics, and longer lamp life. All of these LED Directional lamps are fully dimmable, providing an excellent energy efficient alternative to halogen or incandescent directional lamps, making them perfect for track lighting, recessed lighting, and desk lamps. TCP Directional Lamps will be available during the 3rd quarter 2010.
TCP has also added two new LED MR16 and PAR16 specialty mini-spot lamps, which feature excellent lumen output, long life and cooler operating performance. These products are perfect for small fixtures, pendant lights and display lighting applications.
And TCP has also expanded its popular LED Deco Lamp Series, adding new frosted Torpedo globes and A-lamp models. These lamps also utilize TCP’s Circular-Array design, giving the lamp a dispersed, brilliant light output. As with the entire TCP LED Deco Lamp line, these lamps are fully dimmable and are excellent energy efficient replacements for halogen and incandescent lamps. TCP’s LED Deco lamps are perfect for accent and decorative lighting, chandeliers, ceiling fans and indoor/outdoor fixtures.
TCP tests and certifies its LED products to insure they meet/exceed FCC and UL compliance, and meet RoHS certification requirements. TCP currently has over 300 products which have earned the US Department of Energy’s and the Environmental Protection Agency’s “ENERGY STAR” designation. TCP is proud to have earned the DOE’s and EPA’s 2010 “ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year” award for the second consecutive year.
