SpringLight CFLs Featured in the New York Times

Recently, TCP's SpringLight™ compact fluorescent light bulbs were featured in a New York Times article entitled, "Any Other Bright Ideas?"  Below are some excerpts from that article, as well as a link to the full story.

"Although most of the compact fluorescents were deemed unacceptable by the panel, there were several that were found to be not only acceptable but attractive. The n:vision TCP Home Soft White, for example, was deemed “a warm pleasant light.” The TCP Spring Light™/Soft White was “almost warmer than incandescent,” one person said."

As a part of the article, a dozen Times staffers were asked to test 21 bulbs.  Testers comments about TCP's SpringLight™ brand CFL included, " ...a bit magenta, not bad...slightly cool light....could work in a bedroom...almost warmer than incandescent..."
